Meeting location
Where is your office located? My office is situated in Building MO-27, located on P. Vivarelli Street in Modena. Upon arrival, please use the doorphone by pressing the phone icon (✆) and dialing 6353 to gain entry. Once inside, the elevator to your left will take you to my office on the second floor.
What should I do if I am unable to find you in your office? In the event that I am not in my office, it is likely that I am in the laboratory, which can be found on the first floor of Building MO-52, also on P. Vivarelli Street in Modena. Should you find that I am not in either location, please contact me at 0592056353.
Can I require a remote meeting? While I have a preference for in-person meetings, I understand the need for flexibility. If you require a remote meeting, please inform me by sending an email specifying this preference, and we will make the necessary arrangements.
Booking and rescheduling
What if our meeting needs to extend beyond the scheduled time? The allocated times for meetings are designed to accommodate most discussions. However, if it becomes clear that our conversation requires additional time, we may need to schedule a subsequent meeting to ensure that all topics are thoroughly addressed.
What if I need to reschedule our meeting? You will find a link in the confirmation email that will allow you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you encounter any issues or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out via email.
There are no available time slots and I need to meet with you urgently. What should I do? You can request to be notified when a new timeslot becomes available for booking. To request a notification, please click the appropriate link on the booking page and complete the form provided.
For any further inquiries or specific requests not covered in the FAQs, please do not hesitate to reach out via email.
For companies and partners
What kinds of collaborations are possible? We can explore joint projects, student theses (co-supervised), internships, seminars/workshops, and technology transfer activities.
What information should I include in my request? A short brief (problem, goals), expected timeline, any constraints (tools, data, NDA), and who will attend from your side. This helps select the most suitable meeting type and duration.
Can we sign an NDA? If needed, NDAs can be arranged through the university. Please mention this in your message so we can plan accordingly.
Do you support remote meetings? Yes. For first contacts and scoping, remote meetings are often convenient. On-site visits can be arranged when useful.
