Communications Policy

As a user of the AImageLab-SRV cluster, you will receive important emails regarding emergency outages, major planned outages, and updates to our policies. Occasionally, we may also send out notifications about events that are relevant to the majority of our users.

💡 Note
We plan maintenance downtimes on a monthly basis; however, this schedule may vary. We will always inform users about these maintenance slots well in advance.

Mailman Subscription

We use Mailman to notify all active users about significant changes to our systems and policies. Mailman provides a method for unsubscribing. Please note that our user lists are updated regularly, so even if you unsubscribe, you will be re-subscribed if you maintain an active AImageLab-SRV account. We strive to send only essential information that affects all users.

ColdFront Notifications

The ColdFront resource and allocations management portal will send notifications when allocations are approaching renewal. Principal Investigators (PIs) and managers on the ColdFront project cannot turn off these notifications; however, individual users can disable them. To manage your notifications, log in to ColdFront at https://ailb-web.ing.unimore.it/, click on the project name, and then uncheck the box next to your name to disable notifications.
